A three month investigation by London police has ended with child pornography charges being laid against a 19-year-old man.
Officers with the internet child exploitation unit, with the assistance of the digital forensic unit, launched the investigation in mid-December. They searched a home in the north end of the city and seized various electronic devices.
According to investigators, the devices contained images of suspected child pornography.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old London man was arrested on Friday. He has been charged with two counts of unlawfully possessing child pornography and one count of importing, selling, distributing child pornography.
The man is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on June 13.
