The St. Thomas Police Service (STPS) arrested a 30-year-old man in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police said that an officer on patrol observed the man driving along Talbot Street at approximately 1:15 a.m.
STPS added that the arrest took place in a parking lot, as the man didn’t stop immediately when instructed.
“Investigation revealed that the male was prohibited from driving and he was arrested without incident,” police said in a release.
According to police, he was also in possession of a small amount of a methamphetamine.
The St. Thomas man faces several driving offences, as well as a drug possession charge.
