Travel advisory in effect for Huron-Perth

Environment Canada has put a winter weather travel advisory into effect for parts of Huron and Perth counties.

In a statement, the weather agency said that 5-10 centimetres of snow could accumulate by Sunday morning.

Heavy, blowing snow is expected after midnight, making driving conditions hazardous.

“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If you must drive, be prepared for areas of poor visibility,” Environment Canada warned.
