A Brockton man is facing charges following an incident in Bracebridge that saw two Ontario Provincial Police officers attacked by dogs.
According to a release from Bracebridge OPP, officers were called to an incident at a motel in Bracebridge on December 28th.
Upon arrival, officers tried to arrest a suspect, and during the struggle, two large dogs attacked the officers.
According to the release, one was stopped using a taser, but the second dog was shot dead due to concerns for the officer’s safety.
A 40-year-old from Brockton faces charges of Causing a Disturbance and Mischief.
He has a court date set in Bracebridge for March 8th, 2022.
