“ROOTS stands for Recognizing Our Opportunity To Support and contributing to a CT scanner that will provide important care to so many people is certainly a wonderful way for us to give back to our community,” Tracy MacDonald, Trillium president and CEO, is quoted in a foundation news release.

According to the release, “Trillium Mutual has a strong legacy of supporting the communities where their policyholders and staff live and work. They are particularly dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives because not having access to these services would be detrimental to the well-being and sustainability of rural communities.”
