In Wisconsin, Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline crosses sovereign lands of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Enbridge seeks to construct a tunnel under the Straits of Mackinac, keeping the pipeline running for the years it will take for approval and construction.
