Kincardine runner sets new record at Toronto Marathon

A Kincardine resident created some excitement at the Toronto Marathon Oct. 15, not only running the entire 26.2 miles in full Highland gear, but also breaking a world record, by just one second.
Denis Bilyard wanted to set a new record for “Fastest marathon in Highland dress”, currently held by an Australian. That time, set in 2019, was three hours, 20 minutes, 13 seconds. (By Liz Small)
