WALTER HOGG
Walter Gibson Twynholm Hogg, of Kincardine, passed away at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at age 84.
Beloved husband Deborah Hogg and the late Rebecca Hogg (2009).
Sadly missed by sister-in-law Wendy Perley and father-in-law Robert Perley.
Fondly remembered by Rebecca’s sisters: Liz McKellar, Margaret Johnson (Leonard), Jeanette Nunnery (John) and Linda O’Malley (Arthur), brother John Adams (Caroline) and several nieces and nephews.
Deeply missed by his golfing group and many dear friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Davina (née Gibson) Hogg.
Walter was born in Kirkoswald, Scotland on March 10, 1939. He came to Canada in 1967 and moved to Kincardine in 1973. He was an Engineer with OPG, ending up at the Bruce Nuclear Site as Bruce ‘B’ Production Manager.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023 at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, from where the memorial service to honour Walter’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 with Crystal Middelkamp-Morais officiating. Refreshments to follow in the Davey-Linklater Lounge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation, Huron Shores Hospice or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
