JANET KEMPTON
Janet M. Kempton, beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Kempton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Trillium Court on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 86.
She was born in Kincardine on March 23, 1937, to the late Noma (Shiells) and William Campbell.
Loving mother of Dianne (Brad) Rotteau, Linda McQuillin, Tom (Pauline) Kempton, Mary (Steve) MacNay and Helen (Brian) Van Osch. Greatly missed by son-in-law Al Matheson, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also survived by sisters Joyce Courtney and Joan (Elwood) Irwin and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter Sandra Matheson, son-in-law Rick McQuillin, brother-in-law Bob Courtney and sister-in-law Bette (Geoff) Torrible.
A funeral service was held at the Pine River United Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug.3, 2023, with visitation for one hour prior.
Interment Ripley Cemetery.
