Landmark Great Lakes coastal wetland program continues restoration drive that began in 2010

It was 2010 when federal funding in the U.S. to restore the Great Lakes, via the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, began to flow to the tune of $475 million. Fast-forward to 2023 and a program focused on coastal wetland restoration has been renewed twice by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and has received a total of $30 million since 2010.
