Huron County OPP officers are investigating a trio of pickup truck thefts from locations in Central Huron and South Huron that all occurred on the same day.
On June 13, a black 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Ontario plates # 85522NC and serial # 2GTEK13T851207937 was stolen from Albert Street in Clinton between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Then at about 3:40 p.m. that same day, a red 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Ontario plates # BR15816 and serial # 1GTEC14X04Z298352 was stolen from an address on London Road, south of Exeter
The third theft took place about 8:45 p.m., as thieves took a black 2001 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Ontario plates # 5597HS and serial # 2GTEK19T911130349 from an Ontario Street address in Clinton. The truck was involved in a fail-to-stop incident with police and managed to escape. The stolen truck was spotted travelling southbound on London Road
