Stratford Treasure Hunt gets underway today

This weekend, May 26–28, is the first Treasure Hunt of the year for the City of Stratford.

Residents have the chance to recycle any unwanted household items by simply setting them out on the curb.

Materials can be left out for anybody in the neighbourhood to gather starting at 4 p.m. on the Friday of those specific Treasure Hunt weekends.

By Sunday at 3 p.m., all unclaimed things must be taken out to the curb.

Please keep in mind not to leave any goods you intend to keep, such as bicycles or kid’s toys, near the curb over the course of the Treasure Hunt weekend.

The occasion aims to encourage recycling and prevent objects with a limited useful life from ending up in Stratford’s landfill.

Future treasure hunt dates this year are June 23-25, July 28-30, August 25-27 and September 22-24.
