A 41-year-old man who allegedly became combative with police southwest of London is facing some serious charges.
Oneida Nation police and the Middlesex OPP were called about a heated family dispute at a home on River Road at Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation just before 6 a.m. on Saturday. When police arrived on scene, a man at the home began struggling with officers.
Police had to deploy a taser in order to subdue the man.
An Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation resident was arrested and has since been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, resisting a peace officer, and failure to comply with probation order.
The accused remained in custody pending the outcome of a bail hearing.
