A 61-year-old man is accused of throwing a brick through the front of a downtown business and threatening an employee inside.
The incident happened at an unnamed business on Oxford Street East near Richmond Street around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The brick came through the business’ glass door, after which a man walked inside and made threats toward the employee, London police said.
Police were called and arrested a suspect a short distance away.
A London man has since been charged with assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, public mischief, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The accused has since been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
No injuries were reported.
