A 26-year-old Brampton resident is facing charges in connection with a tractor trailer rollover crash that saw a large amount of garbage spilled in the median of Highway 402 west of London.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of the highway between Kerwood and Sexton roads in Adelaide-Metcalfe just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Police determined the transport veered off the road into the grassy median where it rolled onto its side, dumping its load of garbage. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One westbound lane was closed for approximately seven hours while crews worked to clean up the mess.
On Wednesday, police confirmed a Brampton resident has been charged with careless driving.
