Township opens applications for 2023 Community Well-Being Program

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is now accepting applications for funding from the 2023 Community Well-Being Program.

The program was established in 2018 in partnership with the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Since the program’s creation, nearly $300,000 has been dispersed throughout the community to various initiatives and organizations. The guidelines for this year’s program will be sent to local organizations, so they can review the application and guidelines to ensure their project meets the program’s requirements to secure funding.

Applications for the 2023 Community Well-Being Program in Huron-Kinloss will be accepted until April 21, 2023. The funds available are intended to be supplementary funds to main funding sources to provide a modest boost to help local initiatives and organizations.

The Administrative Coordinator for the Township of Huron-Kinloss, Mike Bartlett, will work with applicants to ensure their application is complete and ready for review. Applicants can visit the township website prior to applying to find more information, or contact Mike at 519-395-3735 or mbartlett@huronkinloss.com.
