A domestic investigation by Perth County OPP officers has lead to mischief and cruelty charges against a 27-year-old resident of Perth County.
The investigation started on On March 4, 2023, at approximately 9:58 p.m., when a victim reported a historical mischief from January 2023. The victim reported that the suspect damaged items inside the home.
The 27-year-old suspect faces charges of cruelty to animals causing unnecessary pain, suffering or injury, and charges of causing damage or injury to an animal or bird by failing to provide suitable food, water, care, or shelter.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
