A man and woman were arrested Friday after police were called to a Perth East residence with reports of suspicious people on the property.
Police said the call came in just after midnight and officers arrived at the scene shortly afterward to find two people inside of a cabin on the private land.
As a result of the incident, a 31-year-old man of East Zorra-Tavistock Township and a 28-year-old woman of Stratford are facing charges.
The man has been accused of unlawful dwelling, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and failing to comply with his probation, while the woman is charged with unlawful dwelling and possession of illicit drugs.
The pair were released from custody and will later appear at the Stratford Ontario Court of Justice in relation to the charges.
