A collision south east of Monkton claimed one life.
Perth County OPP said in a statement Monday they were called around 4:47 p.m. for a report of a two vehicle collision on Perth Line 55.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is being withheld while family are notified.
Perth Line 55 was closed between Road 154 and Road 155 for much of the night while police investigated.
