MURIEL MARUSIAK
Muriel Mary Marusiak of Tiverton passed away, with family by her side, on Jan. 17, 2023, at Tiverton Park Manor, at the age of 93.
Beloved mother of Phyllis Marusiak Smythe.
Cherished grandmother of Futen Smythe (John Smith).
Greatly missed by her great grandchildren: Gina Spiridaki, Isamu Smith, Amanda Smith, Ashley Smith and Amy Ravell.
Predeceased by her husband Mike Marusiak, parents Philip and Beryl Koenig and grandson Daniel Albert Smith (2015).
Muriel lived through the Great Depression and a World War. She worked at the Circle Bar Knitting Co., and became a bookkeeper. Muriel was a hard worker and, although life was not always easy, she went through it with grace. Muriel touched the lives of many and will be remembered by family, friends and her community.
A memorial service to honour Muriel’s life will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, with Rev. Dan West officiating.
Spring interment Tiverton Cemetery.
