Charges have been laid against a 14-year-old who allegedly took a vehicle without permission and refused to stop for police southeast of Tillsonburg.
Norfolk OPP received a call about a vehicle that was stolen from an address in North Walsingham just before 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
Officers located the vehicle, but the young driver who did not have consent to use it, refused to pull over as directed and instead took off. Investigators later found the vehicle parked at a residence and arrested a 14-year-old from Norfolk County without incident.
The teen has since been charged with failure to stop for police and driving without a licence. The teen will appear in court in relation to the charges at a later date, police said.
