St. Thomas police are investigating what they are calling a “targeted” shooting.
In a tweet posted around 10:14 a.m., police said that there is an active investigation in the area of Palm Street in St. Thomas.
There is an active investigation in the area of Palm St. We can confirm there has been a shooting which is believed to be targeted with no further risk to the public. This is an ongoing investigation we are seeking any information that may be known in relation to the incident.

Police confirmed the shooting was a targeted incident and that there is no risk to the public.
No other details regarding injuries or any arrests have been released.
