Two people critically hurt in crash west of London

Multiple people, including two who were seriously hurt, have been taken to hospital after a crash west of London.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Amiens Road between Melrose and Gold Creek in Middlesex Centre before 11 a.m. Thursday.

OPP have not said exactly how many people were hurt, only that “multiple” were taken to hospital for treatment. That included two people with life-threatening injuries who were trapped in the wreckage.

That section of Amiens Road has been closed while police investigate. There is no word on when it will be reopened. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
