The Huron Street Reconstruction project in Stratford is wrapping up for the year.
The City has reported that the work between the Huron Street Bridge and John Street is almost finished for 2022.
After new traffic signals are installed, some remaining items will be completed in the spring.
Work on the storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, curbs and gutters is complete, along with a base layer of asphalt.
In the spring, sidewalks will be finished, along with intersection work, driveway and turf restoration, and more asphalt.
Currently, pedestrians need to follow detour signs on sidewalks at John Street and the Huron Street bridge.
