Owen Sound Police officers are looking for a white sedan involved in a hit and run incident that killed a dog.
Police were called to the scene in front of the pet owners’ home on 27th Street East on December 17 at about 5:15 p.m.
The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian for treatment, but succumbed to its injuries.
Police said a motorist left the scene, heading northbound on 9th Avenue East.
Police said the white four door vehicle likely has front end damage.
Police are specifically seeking residential video surveillance or doorbell cameras that may have captured the vehicle before or after this incident.
