A stabbing at a downtown London high school has left a teenage girl in hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to the reported stabbing at H.B. Beal Secondary School on Dundas Street around 11:30 a.m. Monday. A teenage girl was found with serious stab wounds. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
The school was temporarily locked down while London police searched for a suspect.
A teenage girl has since been arrested. At this point, no charges have been laid.
Police have said they are in the early stages of their investigation and will provide more information when it becomes available.
