Huron’s CAO proud of pandemic response

Huron County’s CAO believes council can be proud of its pandemic response.

“The pandemic response was quite significant as a result of the work that Huron County council did. Certainly the county was involved and participated in the coordination of the mass vax clinics that were so important in Huron County,” said CAO Meighan Wark.

Wark also highlighted the Community Care Teams through Emergency Services.

“These Community Care Teams really were able to deliver services in ways that were needed at the time of the pandemic,” Wark said.

Wark added as times have changed the teams were flexible enough to work well with local agencies to fill in health care gaps where necessary.
