Charges have been laid against a 32-year-old woman after a dispute at a St. Thomas homeless shelter ended with one person being assaulted.
Police were called about the disturbance at the shelter Monday night. Officers determined two people were arguing when one assaulted the other.
No injuries were reported.
A woman was arrested and has since been charged with one count of assault. She has been released from custody with a future court date.
