Strong wind gusts are expected to swoop in this weekend.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for many parts of southern Ontario on Friday.
Areas under the weather statement include Sarnia-Lambton, London-Middlesex, Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, Elgin County, Oxford County, Perth County, and Huron County.
The national weather agency said strong south to southwesterly winds, with gusts of 70 and 80 kilometres per hour, are expected to begin Saturday afternoon. Isolated wind gusts of 90 km/h are possible.
The windy weather will bring in a cold front Saturday evening, at which point, windy conditions are expected to settle.
There may be isolated power outages this weekend due to weather conditions. Loose objects may also be tossed by the wind.
