Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews responded to a report of a serious, single-vehicle collision along Elgin Road at around 7:52 a.m.

Paramedics arrived and two occupants in the vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Elgin Road was closed between Mossley Drive and Crampton Drive while officers investigated. The area has sine reopened to traffic.

As a result, a 23-year-old London woman has been charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, and operating while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 8o plus milligrams.

The woman has since been released with a future court date.
