Fire officials are probing a fire that caused over $500,000 damage to a commercial plaza in south London.
Firefighters were called to the building at 203 Exeter Road east of Wonderland Road around 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday. When crews arrived they found heavy smoking and flames coming from the roof.
No injuries were reported and firefighters were able to extinguish the fire relatively quickly.
An early estimate puts damage from the fire at more than $500,000.
Fire investigators remained on scene into the afternoon, working to determine the origin, cause, and circumstances of the blaze.
