Jim Ginn has been re-elected as Mayor of Central Huron.
Ginn says he’s very pleased with a number of things council has been able to do over the last four years.
“Subdivisions have been planned over the last four years that are in varying degrees of progress right now and another one along the Lakeshore. And I think that’s good. The purchase of the Bluewater Youth Centre has absolutely tremendous potential, so I think that was an important decision,” Ginn said.
Ginn says he’s also very pleased with the construction that took place on the main street of Clinton and how that will drive more people into the town.
“I think that will drive more people into the town and I think it’s just the start of some really good things. I think probably what I’m most proud of in the last four year period is bringing the high speed internet. It’s being installed now and it’s going to be a game changer as well,” added Ginn.
Ginn says the municipality has built some momentum over the last four years and he looks forward to seeing that continue in the next four years.
