A Civil Emergency Alert has been issued for a large area north of Midwestern Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a report of an Armed and Dangerous person in Wikwemikong First Nation, which is located on Manitoulin Island.
OPP are asking the public in an area stretching from the island all the up to north of Sudbury to shelter in place with doors and windows locked, and to immediately notify 9-1-1 of any suspicious persons or activities.
