A Kitchener native wanted on numerous charges stemming from incidents in Owen Sound, including drug trafficking, was arrested in Listowel.
On Wednesday, September 21 just after 7 a.m., Perth County OPP spotted a wanted male at a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel. The officer spoke to the male and subsequently arrested him for the outstanding warrants. The officer searched the man and the accused was found to allegedly be in possession of some drugs believed to be fentanyl, as well as a stolen motorcycle.
As a result, 41-year-old David Carefoot of Kitchener has been charged with numerous offences including Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
The accused has been held in custody.
