London police investigating hit and run

London police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a hit and run early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the area of Hamilton Road and Little Grey Street at around 4:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian who had been found with injuries as a result of a collision.

Hamilton Road between Inkerman Street and Dreaney Avenue has been closed off as police continue their investigation.

Police say the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are urging anyone who was on Hamilton Road between 4:30 – 4:45 a.m., or who may have a dash-cam video that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
