Woodstock police are turning to the public for help identifying two men who assaulted an elderly man earlier this month.
The man was walking on Devonshire Avenue near Clarke Street when he was attacked between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on September 5.
Police do not have a photo or description of either suspects or their clothing.
On Wednesday, police issued a plea to the public asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Sergeant Murray of the Woodstock Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch at 519-537-2323 or 519-421-2800.
Information can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Police did not provide an update on the condition of the elderly man.
