A group of teenagers is facing robbery charges following an incident in Goderich.
Huron County OPP say in a release that they responded on July 26th at 5:46 p.m. to a Bruce Street East address in Goderich to investigate a disturbance that took place. Upon arrival police met with an adult victim that had sustained minor injuries. An investigation determined that a group of teenagers came to the residence looking for retribution from a previous incident. An argument ensued, and the teens assaulted the victim. Following the assault, the victim’s cell phone was stolen.
As a result, five teenagers from Goderich, one from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh and one from Forest are now facing robbery charges. They have all been released from custody with an upcoming court date.
