Obituary – Cecil Sutton

ROBERT “CECIL” SUTTON

Robert “Cecil” Sutton, of Huron Township, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the age of 87.
He was born in Melbourne Ontario on June 30, 1934 to the late Lyman & Pearl Sutton.
Survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Ellen “Wilma” Sutton (née King).
Also greatly missed by sons Charles Robert Sutton and Cecil Rodney Sutton, and daughter Tammy Georgina Lynn Murray (husband Brad Murray). Proud Grandpa of Damon & Dylan Murray.
Fondly remembered by his siblings Bud Sutton of Vanderhoof, BC; Garry (Donna) Sutton of Lucknow, Jean (Allan) Gilmore of Ottawa and John (Debbie) Sutton of Teeswater and by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by siblings Ruth (Jan) Bruinooge, Joan (Charles) Murray and Charles Sutton.
Visitation was at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday July 2, 2022. The funeral service was conducted from the chapel at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2022, with Pastor Ken Craig officiating. Pallbearers were: Murray Thompson, Bert Piel, Dan Middelkamp, Paul Murray, Derek Beishuizen and Harvey Cooper, with Stuart Land and Gord Austin acting as Honourary Pallbearers. Grandsons Damon & Dylan Murray were flower and hat bearers.
Interment Ripley Cemetery.
