Highway 9 in Bruce County is closed near Kinloss due to downed power lines.
In a tweet, Ontario Provincial Police say the road is closed in both directions between Bushell Street and Kincardine-Kinloss Boundary Road due to downed hydro wires.
They note that a lengthy closure is expected.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
