More than $250,000 of damage done in house fire

The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to a fire on Guildford Crescent early Sunday morning.

LFD credited working smoke alarms with keeping one person from being injured, however, two of the home’s pets were killed in the fire and one is missing.

The damage done to the home was estimated to be worth more than $250,000.

The investigation into the fire’s origin is ongoing.
