Emergency crews responded to a rural area in North Middlesex County on Friday afternoon after a tractor reportedly crashed.
The call came in at around 1:52 p.m.
Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police, along with Fire and paramedics, arrived at the scene of Brinsley Road after a tractor was involved in a single-vehicle collision.
Provincial initially provided few details about the crash other than that it was “serious”.
Investigation determined that the tractor driver was cutting the grass along the shoulder of the road when the vehicle flipped, pinning them. As a result, the individual was pronounced deceased at scene.
The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Brinsley Road was closed for around five hours while officers investigated and cleared the scene. The area has since reopened.
