After a one day increase, the number of people in London hospital with COVID-19 went down on Wednesday.

The LHSC specified that, of the 19 COVID-19 patients at its hospitals, ten are being treated for COVID-19, while nine were admitted for other reasons but also have the virus.

The number of people with COVID-19 in the intensive care unit remained unchanged with five or fewer. At Children’s Hospital, there are zero infected patients, down from five or fewer on Tuesday.

The hospital network reported on Wednesday that it currently has 50 employees who have tested positive for the virus. That is down one over the past 24 hours.

As of early afternoon Wednesday, the Middlesex London Health Unit had not updated its COVID-19 dashboard to reflect new and total cases, the total number of resolved cases, and the total number of virus-related deaths.
