After being put on hold for two years, the Huron Waves Music Festival will be launched on the first of June.
Artistic Director, John Miller, says the last two years have been very difficult, as it has been for most artists, so their delighted to finally get a chance to perform. Miller says the season will start with the launch of their video.
“We’ve announced nineteen concerts and events all over the county. Performances from country to classic, First Nations to international, youth. In the video there’s a six-year-old playing his violin to a seniors Dixieland band.”
“The video actually opens the Festival on the first of June and there are events, many on the weekends, but some on week nights as well, but mostly on the weekends from that point on and we finish on Sunday, the 26th of June.”.
Miller says a complete schedule as well as more information about the performers and access to the video can be found on the Huron Waves Music Festival web site.
