Obituary – Ann MacMaster

ANN MacMASTER

Ann MacMaster (née Batherson) of Lorne Beach passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine on Monday, May 2, 2022, after a rich, fulfilling 97 years of life.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Seldon “Wes” MacMaster.
Ann was the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Ann (née MacDonald) Batherson, three brothers and three sisters.
She will be fondly remembered by many family members, nieces and nephews.
Ann, affectionately known at Auntie, will be dearly missed by her beloved family and friends. Ann treated her family as great friends and her friends as family. She had a joyous and humorous nature and enjoyed a rich, full life. She was so youthful; no one could ever guess her age or believe she had turned 97 in February.
Her favourite activities were playing Bingo, Cribbage, Mexican Train, Sequence and having coffee or lunch dates with friends. She had an infectious, positive attitude and never worried about a thing.
She was the bravest woman we have ever known and we are all the better for knowing her. We loved her so and need to channel our inner Auntie to move forward in her glorious memory. We cherish the multitude of photos and fabulous stories and sayings that she was famous for. Goodbye, sweet Auntie.
Private family services will be held.
