Environment Canada has issued a winter travel advisory for much of Southern Ontario to begin the week.
The weather agency warned that Windsor-Essex, Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent, London-Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron-Perth, and Grey-Bruce counties could all see 4-8 centimetres of snow accumulate on Monday afternoon.
It’s expected to be an afternoon of mixed precipitation, starting as rain before turning into wet snow.
Motorists are advised to take extra care as the snow may fall very heavily at times and reduce visibility while driving.
