Police seek witnesses after shots fired from vehicle

London police are appealing to the public for more information after gunshots were fired from a vehicle in southeast London earlier this month.

On Saturday April 2, police launched an investigation after a man reported that shots were fired from passing vehicle while he was travelling southbound on Highbury Avenue South near Commissioners Road East just before 7 a.m.

The man told police he witnessed someone in the vehicle fire two rounds from a handgun, before the vehicle exited onto the Commissioners Road East off-ramp. A third shot was then fired. After getting a description and licence plate number from the vehicle, police announced charges against two 19-year-old women.

On Wednesday, London police announced they are continuing to investigate the incident and would like to speak with any possible witnesses.
