The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from Huron County are still on the scene of a crash at the Maitland River just south of Ethel.
Police responded to the site at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday where a vehicle had reportedly left the road and landed in the water.

Currently, Ethel Line is closed between Brandon Road and Newry Road (Huron County #16) while the OPP and others, including specialized search and rescue teams, search for any victims of the crash.
