The 2022 Huron-Kinloss Winter Carnival is underway.
Residents can join in at home with the Snow Sculpture and Backyard Rink Competitions.
And there is an Olympic-themed Scavenger Hunt with a Huron-Kinloss twist. People can download a clue sheet to find the Olympic signs in the community.
People can send a picture of their snow sculptures, or their scavenger hunt finds, for a chance to win prizes.
This evening, families can hit the ice at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre from 7:00 to 8:00 in the evening for a free skate thanks to the Ripley Lions Club.
Lucknow and District Chamber of Commerce; R he Ripley Business Community; and t the Huron Shores Lions Club are offering two Lakeshore and Area prizes.
The Lucknow Lancers have two prize packs for Lucknow and area, while The Ripley Wolves have two prize packs for Ripley and area for the best Backyard Rinks. The scavenger hunt winners will have the chance to win one two gift prize packs courtesy of Rosewood RVilla Senior Living.
