Six guns, cocaine, fentanyl seized from London home

A 56-year-old London man is facing nearly a dozen drug trafficking charges after a police raid turned up six guns and a quantity of various drugs including cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

Officers with the London police guns and gangs section searched a home on Hillcrest Avenue, just west of Highbury Avenue on Thursday afternoon. Inside they found two starter pistols, two .22 calibre handguns, a .32 calibre barrel and slide, two rifles and a large quantity of ammunition. The police search also turned up 15 grams of cocaine, 23 grams of methamphetamine, more than 17 grams of fentanyl, 50 Tylenol 3 pills, 260 hydromorphone pills, 48 Oxycodone pills, and 15 Ritalin pills.

The estimated value of the drugs seized is $10,310.

A London man was arrested and charged with 11 counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

He is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on May 6.
