Charges have been laid against three Londoners in the theft of a school bus that was found with stolen mail inside in the northwest-end.
The bus was reported stolen to London police from the northeast-end around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers located the bus in the area of Guildwood Boulevard and Richmeadow Road soon after.
Three men ran from the school vehicle as police closed in.
Two were arrested by the canine unit and the third was picked up by the police uniform division.
A search of the bus turned up stolen mail, police said.
Three men, aged 37, 36, and 28, are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of stolen mail.
